Oral Sedation Dentistry

Oral sedation dentistry allows you to take a pill the night prior to your appointment enabling you to have great, restful night sleep. When you arrive at the office, driven by your spouse, companion or friend, you will be taken into the operatory and given additional medication to relax you even further so you are not anxious during your actual treatment.

Many patients don’t even recall how long or what was done  or that anything was done at all until the treatment is reviewed with them. The treatment is done with the most up-to-date equipment and safety.

I remember a very frightened many of about 73 who hadn’t been to a dentist for years. His first consulting visit he couldn’t even sit in the chair. After a few visits we replaced his missing teeth with fixed restorations with mini implants and he could chew again. During the procedure one time he made a bet with my dental assistant that he would recall all that happened. To my assistant’s disappointment he didn’t even remember making the bet.
